I thought in 10 days time we’d get together for breakfast. I wanted to talk about sending Dylan to New York, and not letting me know. And how soccer was going. What a great job you’re doing at TokBox, and how happy I am at Hearsay. How our dads are getting older, and the world is getting angrier.<\/p>\n
But instead, as I sit here tonight, I’m thinking instead about how cruel life is.<\/p>\n
For your mother and father, who have to bury a second child.
\nFor your boys.
\nFor your wife.
\nFor all of the people you took care of while never letting any of us take care of you<\/p>\n
The world is a little bit more empty, and so is my heart.<\/p>\n
Good-bye dear friend. I hope you’re at peace.<\/p>\n
